I served as the primary advisor for Khyari's summer internship project, which was part of the Penn State Summer Research Opportunity Program (SROP). Khyari is an undergraduate student from Howard University. Khyari worked with me to design and execute an experiment to evaluate an AI-powered algorithm developed for floral area estimation. As an advisor, I trained, mentored, and supervised Khyari's project throughout the summer.
